"Four of our horses have been on Flex GLM for nearly four years. The youngest on it is 9 yrs old. We bought him as a rescue horse. He has a sheared off patella and is on Flex GLM "just in case".The next one is 17 yrs old. He is on Flex GLM as we think prevention is better than cure.The next one is 20 yrs old. He came to us as a rescue horse with a history of tendon problems. We immediately put him on Flex GLM and he has never developed or shown signs of lameness. “I have been using Nupafeed’s amazing joint supplement, Flex GLM, on my injured 4yr old. The difference it has made has been incredible, and my vet was equally as impressed when he visited this weekend!
As a 3yr old, Reg had an accident in the field that left his hock in a terrible mess. Unfortunately the problem became rapidly worse, the joint became infected and the vet found some chipped bone. Surgery removed the bone and eventually the hock did heal but the joint was still very swollen, despite having it drained and trying everything I could think of. I was seriously considering having him put down because he was not going to be able to stay sound, the joint had been allowed more than enough time to heal and no further improvement seemed possible.
At this point some friends recommended Flex GLM from Nupafeed, suggesting that the anti-inflammatory action of the Green Lipped Mussel’s omega-3, combined with the nutrients, might help him. The difference it made in just a month was amazing, the joint has gone from hugely swollen and misshapen to only having the tiniest amount of swelling – you can only see it if you are looking for it. I wish I had taken a ‘before’ photo because I simply can’t describe the extent of the improvement. He has now been fully broken, I am riding him and he is completely sound.
